Marriage Retreat

Our first annual married couples retreat will be held the weekend of June 4-6, 2010 at the beautiful Mission Inn in nearby Riverside. Registration includes your stay, retreat materials, Saturday evening dinner, and breakfast both mornings. Early bird registration is $425 through March 30. Corporate Prayer

We know that corporate prayer is an important part of the life of the church, along with worship, sound doctrine, communion, and fellowship. The early church met regularly to learn the doctrine of the apostles, break bread and pray together (Acts 2:42).

Whether you are young in the faith, or a mature believer, we invite you to join us the second and last Wednesdays of every month as we come boldly to the throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16), lifting up one another and our church in prayer.

You are also invited to join us for our regular time intercessory prayer from 6-7 AM in the sanctuary every Wednesday morning. Bible Study - Fundamentals of the Faith

Fundamentals of the Faith – Whether you are new to the faith, or looking to be refreshed in the basic doctrines, you will find a blend of basic biblical truths with a call to personal obedience and service. This 13 week course will meet every Monday, 7-8:30pm with the last Monday night of the month of for Wednesday's corporate prayer.

Moms of Hope

Formerly called "Pray and Play", once a month several women of Pacific Hope Church get together for some fellowship and a time of prayer. The group rotates host homes each month, and while many of the women bring their young children for playtime and fellowship the first hour, the second hour is spent in prayer for one another as well as the church. Intercessory Prayer

Every Sunday during both morning services, members of Pacific Hope Church gather for intercessory prayer. You are encouraged to join us in this most intimate communication with our Lord. We pray for the services being conducted, the pastor teaching, the body, all ministries and the lost attending. Each Sunday, after prayer time, we are encouraged and moved to take part in fellowship and worship in a powerful more meaningful way.

Pacific Hope Church practices what is called "Expository Preaching."  We practice expository preaching because the Scriptures require us to accurately handle the Word of God, because we are to teach all of God's Word, because teachers incur a stricter judgment, because expository preaching teaches people by example how to read, study, interpret, and apply the Bible to their lives, and because we see it modeled and commanded in the Word of God.

Women's Doctrines Study - Ch 23 & 24

The Women of Hope are invited to join us for a monthly study through the Great Doctrines of the Bible by D. Martyn Lloyd-Jones. Three volumes in one, our time together will cover 'God the Father, God the Son' (Volume One), 'God the Holy Spirit' (Volume Two), and 'The Church and the Last Things' (Volume Three). This class meets one Saturday per Month from 8am-10:30am in the Fellowship Hall. This class is for those who are seeking a better understanding about the great doctrines of the Bible.
