Conference Schedule

Saturday, November 5, 2022

9:30–9:45 a.m. — Welcome

9:45–10:05 a.m. — Always Ready? by Nathan W. Bingham
As a Christian, what is my responsibility in sharing my faith? What do I need to know and how can I make sound arguments to defend the gospel? In this message, learn the importance of apologetics and why young Christians must always be ready to share and defend the reason for the hope that lives within them.

10:10–10:30 a.m. — Is Jesus the Only Way? by Austin Duncan
Christians say that Jesus Christ is the only way for salvation, but some people think that’s offensive. How can we believe that God only gives eternal life to those who believe in Jesus? This message will help us understand how to defend the claim that trusting Jesus is the only way to be saved.

10:30–10:40 a.m. — Now What? Applying What You’ve Just Heard

11:15–11:35 a.m. — Who Am I? by Stephen Nichols
You have probably been told to “just be yourself” if you want to live a good life. But what does it mean to be you? What is your true identity? By God’s grace, Christians have genuine answers to these questions. This message will look at the problem of human identity, helping us come to a secure understanding of who we are by looking to God’s Word.

11:35 a.m.–1:00 p.m. — Lunch

1:05–1:25 p.m. — Interview: Following Christ in a Digital Age with Nathan W. Bingham
We use Facebook, Instagram, and Snapchat to connect with our friends. These apps are great tools, but if we aren't careful, they can hurt us—and our friends. How can we use technology in a God-honoring way? This interview will go over how we can develop genuine relationships and serve the Lord in our digital age.

1:30–1:50 p.m. — What about Other Religions? by Eric Watkins
In our pluralistic age, we regularly encounter people who follow religions other than Christianity. This forces us to ask questions about these other religions. Are they true pathways to God? Do they teach the same basic truths as Christianity? Do they teach any truth at all? Can they prepare someone to receive the gospel? This message will address questions such as these and others.

1:50–2:00 p.m. — Now What? Applying What You’ve Just Heard

2:35–3:00 p.m. — Panel Discussion: How Do I Defend the Gospel? with Duncan, Nichols, and Vuolo

3:00–3:30 p.m. — Q&A: Got Questions? with Stephen Nichols
